2018 MERLOT-SYRAH 750ml

Volume: 750 ml Variety: 80% Merlot, 20% Syrah Alcohol by Volume: 13.1 % Residual Sugar: 3.8 g/L Gentle cap management during fermentation were carried out to extract greater colour and plummy fruit flavour of Merlot. Vigorous cap management was used to extract maximum colour, black fruit flavours and tannin from Syrah. The wine was matured in new and older oak barrels for 9-12 months and then blended at the end of maturation. This Merlot-Syrah is medium ruby coloured and has medium levels of acidity and tannin with black fruit, black pepper and aromatic, floral freshness. Best served room temperature 15-18 °C (59-64 °F).
