2014 PINOT NOIR 750ml

• Gold Medal, Canadian Royal Wine Competition 2016 • Silver Medal, Finger Lakes International Wine Competition 2017 Hand-harvested Pinot Noir grapes were destemmed and crushed and a period of pre-fermentation maceration took place to maximise colour and flavour extraction from the skins. Whole bunches in the ferment enhanced the red fruit and floral characters of Pinot Noir. The wine spent 12 months in 225-litre French barrique to enhance structure and complexity. This Pinot Noir is medium ruby in colour, medium-bodied, medium to high acidity, beautifully balanced with floral and bright, fresh red berry fruits aromas such as strawberry, raspberry and sour cherry, underpinned by subtle toasty oak and spice notes. Best served room temperature 15-18 °C (59-64 °F).
