The 2014 vintage offers ideal condition for grow grapes in Ontario – brilliant long sunshine hours combined with low rainfall levels especially during the ripening season has allowed us to leave grapes on the vine longer into the season. This extra ‘hang time’ results in ripe grapes with concentrated flavours. This Cabernet Franc was matured in new oak and older oak for 12 months to develop cedar and spiced red berry flavours. Deep ruby coloured, this red wine is full-bodied with high acidity, medium+ tannins and displays red cherry, baked blackberry, cooled red plum, leather, cedar and toast flavours. Best served room temperature 15-18 °C (59-64 °F).
